" We were a Filipino-American Church "
" Announcement "
August 28 was the last day of service at Maranatha International Baptist Church, Pastor Paul is moving to Oklahoma to Pastor the Philippine International Baptist Church in Moore City which is 20 minutes away from Oklahoma International Airport. His Installation Service will be on October 30, 2005. Please pray for Ptr Paul as he makes this big step in his ministry. The remaining members of the church decided not to call a Pastor anymore but rather will join a church that they are now going with Pastor Paul here in CA. Our fellow Filipinos are being neglected in the Mid-West in terms of the ministry among our Kababayans.
God Bless and thank you for all who had been a part of the church, continue to serve the Lord in the church He'll put you in!!

Ako'y kanyang kinukupkop at tinutulungan upang maging malakas, maligaya at kapakipakinabang.
(English Version)
I love the Philippines
This is the land of my birth This is the home of my race. I am watched over And being helped by her To be strong, happy, And useful. In return, I will listen To the advice of my parents. I will obey the rules and regulations Of my school. I will carry out the responsibility of a nationalist and follow the laws. I will serve my country unselfishly and with all honesty. I will try to be a true Filipino, in my thoughts, in my words, and in my actions.
National Anthem of the Philippines
(Filipino Version)
"Lupang Hinirang" Composed by Julian Felipe on June 12, 1898
(English Version)
The Philippine National Anthem
"Beloved Country" by Camilo Osias and A. L. Lane
Land of the morning, child of the sun returning, With fervor burning, thee do our souls adore. Land dear and holy, cradle of noble heroes, Ne'er shall invaders, trample thy sacred shore.
Even within thy skies and through thy clouds, And o'er thy hills and sea. Do we behold the radiance, Feel the throb of glorious liberty.
Thy banner, dear to all our hearts, Its sun and stars alight. O, never shall its shining field, Be dimmed by tyrant's might!
Beautiful land of love, O land of light, In thine embrace 'tis rapture to lie. But it is glory ever, when thou art wronged, For us, thy sons, to suffer and die.
